Tymur Melnyk (Austria/Ukraine) is teaching at a Conservatory for Music and dramatic Arts in Vienna, Austria and also works as an assistant of Prof.P.Vernikov in Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy, also regularly giving numerous international master classes. Tymur Melnyk started to play violin at the age of 6 with Prof.H.Melnyk as his teacher, graduated with a Master degree cum laude at the University of Music and performing Arts in Vienna under the guidance of Prof.M.Frischenschlager. Additional artistic impulses from Maestro P.Vernikov, V.Spivakov, Z.Bron, E.Chougaeva. Prize-Winner of international Competitions: 2010 “European String Teachers Association” special Prize at the Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna, J.Brahms Competition in Austria, Grand Prix of the Osaka International Music Competition in Japan (800 contestants). In the year 2008 Tymur Melnyk received the Austrian citizenship due to his extraordinary artistic activities.
